Finally finished the second Troll. I am quite enjoying them. I hope you enjoy watching what I come up with next. Here are a couple of photos.
I'm not sure what to call her, perhaps you could help me give her a name. Even though this little girl had hairline cracks in her head and body, I filled them in and re-baked her then painted her with Acrylics and then Clear Car Varnish.
The Car Varnish dries rock hard, however, I still have the problem of the eyes cracking. They were sold to me as glass eyes, however, I think they are glass (like) eyes. I really think that sometimes people see me coming and think, goody goody, she doesn't know the difference.
That maybe true, after all I am new at all of this, but it's a waste of energy to get too upset about it, so I look at it as a learning curve. And that's ok. Life is too short to dwell on such minor stuff. I just want to experiment and get feed back from those of you who are truly in it for the love of art.
This young lady is dressed in Apple green ribbons Orange flowers and Apple green netting for her shawl. I used Black and Orange Feathers for her hair and added some bling pearls to her ears, wrist and ankle.
Her seat is an oyster shell that has been painted with Acrylic paints and sealed with Clear Car Varnish. (and the Oysters were yummy) hehehe!!! I just can't seem to capture the beautiful green in her dress.
This little guy and girl down below, are just a brain storming idea, I would like to create something that captures (in a quirky way) some of the things on the island.

We have Sheoak trees and I have used one of the seed pods, and I was thinking of sitting them on an oyster shell as well.
But I am still thinking about all of this stuff.
Also, I was thinking, perhaps, I should put wings on them. What do you think?
Anyway that's me for today, Thank you all for stopping by I really appreciate it. Have a wonderful day and weekend if I don't do another post by then. xxx

Nice sculpts Tinypearl! Sorry to hear about the glass (like) eyes cracking on you. I think your trolls look fine wingless.
Thank you Brian I think I might put wings on the small guys holding the Sheoak nuts. But I am relatively happy with the others. Thank you so much for dropping by. xxx
Love your trolls! I think they are great wingless. But, if they want wings..........
Well, they haven't actually said they wanted wings, so I will wait for a little while, HAHAHAHAH!!!!!
