WIP - Updates

I thought I would post a clearer photo of the Gennie Troll. She's not a pretty girl, but I don't think I have actually seen a good looking Troll before anyway. Hahahaha!!!!!!!!!

I have only just finished baking her lamp, I will post a picture of that later.

Here is Troll No.2 - He is more earthy. Polymer clay face hands and feet over a wire armature. Felt and fibre filled body. Material leaves for clothes, beads and feathers, mohair. Acrylic painted lips and nails. He needs to be holding something, but I haven't thought of anything yet.  Although he reminds me of Robin Hood. So he may end up with a bow and arrows.
I am thinking of doing some more wands. I did a couple for my nephew. However, they were done when I hadn't worked out the temperature of the baking properly.  Here are a couple of pictures. Some of them have crystals in them and others have Glass beads my husband (Robert) made.

Robert is only in the early stages of making glass beads, however, I love what he is producing anyway.

I don't know if you can see that one end is a finger.

This one has two rows of Rose Quartz crystals. I was experimenting.

One has a face and a finger at the other end, the green wand has a glass bead at one end and a finger on the other. The purple one has 3 semi precious stones and a finger shape at one end. I was trying to see if the stones would change colour after being baked.

Well that's where I am up to at the moment. Please let me know what you think of the wands, I have a few more ideas for some more of them. I just don't know if they are interesting enough to keep making.

Thanks for dropping by, I appreciate any useful comments. xxx

Dear Gina, I just wanted to drop by your blog, and wish you luck on the FaeWees! The two you are bidding for are my favorites too! Funny how some people see the same things, and like them, but perhaps for different reasons. I just wanted to say thank you, and wish you a great weekend. Your blog is most interesting! I am going to sit a spell, and explore your wonderful creations. xoxo Christel

Thank you Christel for dropping by. I hope I am successful of the FaeWees. One reminds me of Tinkerbell and thats my dad use to call me. And the other one on the watch, would be for my husband because he likes to collect old fob watches. But if they are not meant for me, they are obviously there for someone special. I will keep my eye out for more of your work. The spell sounds good. Keep in touch. xxx
