Xmas Elf

I made this Elf over the Xmas period. He has a wire armature, his face, hands and feet are made from Polymer Clay, then painted in Acrylics.

His clothes are entirally made from Ribbons and half of a scalf.

His body is filled with fibre fill, and his hair is made from Red Feathers.

And he is finished off with beads and a bit of tinsle. I am going to either buy or make a Candy Cane for him to hold.

I hope you like him, please leave comments if they are helpful, I love hearing new ideas.

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and a Safe and happy new year, I would like to wish everyone a healthy and happy 2013. Thank you for stopping by. xxx

Two Elves on the Go

I have started two Elves, One for my Niece, I started to do a Lilly Munster character for her, but everything went wrong. Burnt the hair I had bought for it, so the Elf on the Right, is my Second attempt.

Wish me luck. hehehe!!!

The Elf on the Left, is another effort of a lesson I am learning with Oddfae with Dawn schiller, this is her Blog http://oddfae.blogspot.com.au/.............
I haven't followed every step yet, I think I mentioned it in my last post, I sneaked a look at some of it whilst I downloaded the lesson, which, Hubby is giving me for Christmas. hehehe!!!!

Drop back a little later to see how they turn out. Thanks for dropping by. xxx

Fetch and Carry - FINISHED

Fetch and Carry finally finished, I only had a sneek peek of the lesson I will be doing with Dawn at Oddfae Blog this is her Blog address, go and have a look, I really love her stuff. http://oddfae.blogspot.com.au

I have sculptured his Face, Hands and Feet out of Polymere Clay, He has a wire Armature, body is formed using wrapping the wire in Felt and stuffing some parts of it with Fibre Fill.

His clothes are made from recycling old Clothes and I have just cut this particular Blouse up into strips and tied them onto his body.

I have put some beads onto really small Safety Pins, I have added a few extra beads and Gold Twine.

Then I painted his face with Acrylic paints and his hair is made out of feathers.

The hat I made, is my first hat I have made other than Witches hats, I think it turned out ok, Let me know what you think.

And Here is the Man himself, "Fetch and Carry". Thanks for stopping by. xxx
